Lamis Ammar was born in the Palestinian city Akka in 1992. She studied theatre at the University of Haifa. Lamis currently lives in Berlin and is the star of the critically acclaimed SAND STORM, which won the Grand Jury Prize in World Cinema at Sundance in 2016. Lamis has just landed one of the leads of Rupert Wyatt's next film DESERT WARRIOR opposite Anthony Mackie .
