Biography

Areej is 33 years old, lives at Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the Gaza Strip. I have a Bachelor degree from the Communication College at Al-Aqsa University - TV & Radio Department. My films as below: Kamkamah, co-directed with Eslam Elyan, 6 mins., 2011. Separation, 9 mins., 2012. Mansher Ghaselo, co-directed with Alaa Desoki, 10 mins., 2013. I participated in NUFF and TIFF festivals in Tromso, Norway in 2013. A very hot summer 2016 is my last film which is a personal experience of Gaza summer war 2014 . “Making films makes me feel alive.”
